Previous Experience

Cambridge Utd FC
Jack currently works as a Sport Psychologist in Training at Cambridge United FC Academy, where he supports academy players in developing the mental skills needed to thrive in elite football environments. Through a mix of 1:1 sessions, group workshops, and pitch-side support, Jack helps players improve focus, confidence, motivation, and emotional control. This role allows him to apply evidence-based sport psychology techniques in a professional academy setting, helping young athletes build the resilience and mindset required for long-term development and performance.
Reflex-18
Jack also currently provides sport psychology support at Reflex-18 Physiotherapy Clinic, working alongside physiotherapists to help athletes and active individuals optimise their physical and mental recovery. By integrating psychological strategies such as motivation enhancement, pain management techniques, and mental resilience training, Jack supports clients in overcoming setbacks and returning stronger. This collaborative environment allows me to apply sport psychology principles beyond the pitch, helping people achieve holistic performance and wellbeing.

Braintree Town FC
Jack previously provided dedicated one-to-one sport psychology support for the Braintree Town FC First Team, a professional club competing in the National League. Working closely within a multidisciplinary team (MDT), Jack helped players develop mental resilience, manage performance pressure, and maintain focus during training and matches. This role gave him valuable experience applying tailored psychological strategies in a high-performance professional football environment.
